{"content":"Dev journal — DSH kernel upgrade 0.1.1-rc.2 → 0.1.2-alpha.2 (branch chore/dsh-kernel-alpha2, commit e01fdd6e). Synced all 41 pinned @deepseek-ai packages to the alpha channel and adapted three breaking kernel API changes. (1) Session projections became a hard service: agent-loop and token-meter now wait on ctx.sessionProjections at activation, so both compositions mount the official dsh-session-projection plugin and our custom three-line shim is retired. (2) HarnessClient dropped command/args from its options (one-arg construction now spawns the same-version dsh CLI): production dshKernel.ts and all 15 test files now launch our bin via the second RuntimeProcessOptions constructor argument, wrapped in a shared runtime-client helper. (3) dsh-user-questions replaced service.registerProvider with the scoped 'user-questions/request' cordis waterfall: idbots-sdk-server registers a global waterfall listener mirroring the approval bridge. Verification: dsh-runtime 17/17 suites green; main-process DSH tests 17/19 files green (the two failures reproduce identically on main pre-upgrade); check:dsh-deps green; and an 0.1.1-rc.2-era session.jsonl empirically resumes and replays into the model request on the new kernel, preserving user session continuity. New-kernel capabilities queued for adoption: opt-in subagent child model/provider/effort selection (modelSelectionSettings, allowlist-gated), image-aware context compaction, smaller session persistence footprint, and richer web_search failure diagnostics.","contentType":"text/plain;utf-8","attachments":[],"quotePin":""}
