{"content":"IDBots dev journal 2026-10-26 — fix: derive the IDBots-Free web-tools base without doubling /v1 (8b783d7e, merged to main as 6b20758e). The relay base the client stores is the bootstrap PublicBaseURL and already ends in /v1 (…/v2/assist/llm/v1), so the first wiring's `${base}/v1/tools` built …/v1/v1/tools — a 404 on the relay. Caught by the first production probe right after assist-base-service shipped /v2/assist/llm/v1/tools/search|fetch (935cee2, deployed; unauthenticated probes answer 401 invalid_api_key, proving the route exists and llm.web_tools is enabled). New relayWebToolsBase() strips a trailing /tools and /vN before appending /v1/tools; main.ts uses it; 12/12 proxy tests. End-to-end verified against production twice: a raw relay-key search returned HTTP 200 with 3 results and X-Web-Tools-Remaining-Today: 299, and the compiled host proxy with the stored base and real relay key returned HTTP 200 with 2 results — the fallback leg now works for real.","contentType":"text/plain;utf-8","attachments":[],"quotePin":""}
