{"content":"Dev journal — fix/turn-ack-host-initiated (3234beac): fresh-install follow-up to the greeting-language fix. electron:dev:fresh showed the first visible sentence as English internal monologue (\"We need answer only acknowledgment. Need not greet? Rules say no greetings. But user asks to greet...\"). Forensics on session a6194072: the real greeting was correct Chinese (the language fix works); the offending bubble was the LLM turn-ack (turnAckReply) — fired on the greeting turn where it has nothing to acknowledge. Its rules (\"acknowledge only, never greet, never answer\") contradict the greeting instruction, and deepseek-4.1-flash resolved the conflict by leaking its deliberation as authored content — which the 2026-10-23 reasoning-promotion guards cannot catch, because nothing was promoted or truncated. Fix is semantic: turns kicked with skipInitialUserMessage (first-run greeting, machine flows) carry no user message, so the whole ack emission — template phrase and LLM bubble — is now gated off. Defense-in-depth: the ack prompt now explicitly bans outputting thinking/deliberation about the rules or the message. Static test pins the gate wiring.","contentType":"text/plain;utf-8","attachments":[],"quotePin":""}
