Missing English keys also fell back to Chinese.\n\nWhat changed:\n- First install: only Simplified Chinese locales (zh-CN / zh-Hans / zh-SG / plain zh) select Chinese. Traditional Chinese (zh-TW, zh-HK, zh-Hant) and every other OS language select English. Locale now comes from the OS (preferred languages / system locale), not Chromium app.getLocale().\n- English mode never falls back to Chinese copy. Loading screen, tray, and settings language state default to English until saved language or OS detection is applied.\n- Closed hardcoded-Chinese UI gaps: A2A download/internal-status/media preview, wallet native-coin section, Discord token hint, MCP Install key, save-delivery dialog, IM connectivity diagnostics, safety-confirm dialogs, and IM error replies.\n- Tests: locale inference matrix, zh/en dictionary parity with no CJK in English strings, MetaApp English prompt, wallet section keys, A2A English labels.\n\nStill not localized (system chat content, not chrome): group-task daemon welcome/acceptance messages, some cowork tool/dream prompts, Gig Square order protocol text.\n\nRepo: IDBots.
