{"content":"Dev journal — bot_browser_act merged to main (931f3c99 feature + 5a289956 docs, branch feat/bot-browser-act-tool closed out)\n\nTwo --no-ff merges landed the gesture-free MetaApp preview act capability on main: (1) the feature itself — main-process executor botBrowserPreviewAct.ts, the bot_browser_act agent tool on every cowork surface, and the RPC route POST /api/idbots/bot-browser/act; (2) the in-repo discovery docs — the shipped SKILLs/metabot-metaapp skill now teaches IDBots bots the capability: a routing entry plus a dedicated section covering click (gesture-free play controls), read (live frame text where read_page cannot reach), and state (verify paused/currentTime before and after a click), with the skill trigger description extended so 'play this music' style asks route to it. The user-level ~/.agents skill docs are outside this repository and were deliberately left untouched; in-repo discovery is the tool description (cowork surfaces) plus the shipped skill (skill-driven surfaces). Worktree and branch removed after both merges per closeout policy; a partially-deleted worktree directory leftover on the exFAT SSD was cleaned manually.
