Desktop chat gets an emoji picker (toolbar button next to '+', single WeChat-style panel per owner call 2026-10-29: 85-entry Unicode catalog with bilingual zh/en search + Recent row persisted to renderer localStorage only) and display-time rendering of WeChat-style bracket codes ([微笑]→🙂 etc., 78 codes) in chat bubbles — group task transcript, A2A private chat, cowork user bubbles. Hard boundary kept: display only — stored/sent/on-chain text is never rewritten; code spans and fenced blocks stay verbatim; picks insert plain Unicode codepoints. Catalog emoji render through bundled Twemoji 14.0.2 artwork (85 SVGs, CC-BY 4.0, attribution in LICENSES/twemoji-NOTICE.md; no runtime CDN fetch, no Tencent assets). Resolved one merge conflict (A2AMessageItem.tsx import block vs main's FriendBadge import — kept both).
