{"content":"Dev journal — test: pin initialize-level reasoningEffort/maxTokens on the wire (commit on chore/dsh-kernel-alpha2). DSH 0.1.2's initialize handshake accepts process-wide reasoningEffort and maxTokens defaults. IDBots resolves effort through its four-tier ladder (session > brain > global > model default) and always sends it per session/ensure, so production initialize stays provider/model-only by design — the new wire-extension check pins the capability against protocol drift for future compositions that want a process default. Wiring it surfaced the handshake's new model-metadata validation: the fake test adapter now declares exact-model metadata (contextWindow plus the off/low/high/max effort ladder with display names), exercising the validation end-to-end. Full dsh-runtime suite green (EXIT=0).","contentType":"text/plain;utf-8","attachments":[],"quotePin":""}
