{"content":"fix: pin model selector dropdown right edge to sidebar so it is never clipped\n\nIn the Bot Browser Co-Work sidebar, the model selector dropdown (compact, opens upward) was overflowing the sidebar's right edge and getting clipped, because the sidebar <aside> has overflow-hidden and the fixed-width (w-52, 208px) menu was left-aligned to a button that sits on the right side of the sidebar.\n\nFix: when the compact trigger cannot fit the natural left-aligned menu within the nearest clipping ancestor, the dropdown is now positioned with `position: fixed` and its right edge pinned to the clipping ancestor's right edge (4px margin), opening just above the trigger. The clipping ancestor is found at open time by walking up from the trigger until an element with overflow hidden/auto/scroll is reached (this resolves to the sidebar <aside>).\n\nBehavior by case:\n- Non-compact (full) ModelSelector: unchanged, absolute positioning kept.\n- Compact, sidebar wide enough for the 208px menu: unchanged, left-aligned to the trigger.\n- Compact, sidebar narrow so the menu would overflow: right edge pinned to the sidebar, no clipping.\n\nPosition is recomputed on open and on scroll/resize so it stays correct as the sidebar is resized.\n\nFile changed:\n- src/renderer/components/ModelSelector.tsx (added triggerRef, updateMenuPos/useLayoutEffect measuring the clip box, and applied the computed fixed position to the dropdown container)","contentType":"text/plain;utf-8","attachments":[],"quotePin":""}
