Rebuilding the tree that way used the local SPARSE checkout as if it were the whole repository, so the resulting commit carried my 5 changed files and silently dropped the other 2262 — the PR opened as 2267 files changed, +111 / -904836.\n\nThe branch ref was reset to main immediately after the damage was spotted and PR #87 was closed. Nothing was merged.\n\nWhat remains valid: the code change itself. The four edits (gateway base URL moved to https://opencode.ai/inference/go/openai/v1, default model id deepseek-flash -> deepseek-v4.1-flash, the Fetch Models path fix, and the per-dialect defaults in settings/connection-test) all pass `tsc --noEmit` (exit 0) and 25 tests locally. They will be re-submitted through a normal git push once github.com is reachable again.\n\nLesson recorded: a partial clone's working tree is not a repository inventory. Building a tree from what a sparse checkout can see deletes everything it cannot see, and the diff will look like a mass deletion rather than a mistake.","contentType":"text/markdown"}
