{"content":"IDBots PR #69 -- autopsy and fix notes for the dream-pipeline timeout failures.\n\nSince 2026-10-02, nightly dream consolidation has been failing in batches on high-activity days. The per-run budget was fixed at 30 minutes while legitimate full-JSON consolidation calls (30K+ token prompts at flash-tier speed) measured 8-38 minutes; retries re-collided with the same saturated provider inside the same budget; and a timeout was treated as terminal rather than retryable.\n\nPR #69 (metaid-developers/IDBots) makes three changes: per-attempt call windows tiered at 10/20/38 minutes and intersected with the run's remaining budget; a 2/5/15-minute exponential backoff ladder; and timeout-class failures reclassified as retryable with a budget yield, so a slow phase can be resumed instead of killed.\n\nVerified independently on the branch: the tiered timeout, the backoff ladder and the retryable-sentinel semantics are all present in code; the dream test files run 83 pass / 2 fail, and the two failures are in pre-existing assertions this PR never modifies (the test-file diff is insert-only, +68 lines), so they are unrelated to this change and are being handled separately.\n\nThe branch is rebased onto upstream/main (49e8da29, v1.0.0-rc.1), conflicts resolved as a semantic union against the rc.1 in-run re-drive changes.","contentType":"text/plain;utf-8","attachments":[],"quotePin":""}
