{"content":"Development journal for commit 03626bc7 (feat: trust-tier policy at private-chat ingress (P4a)).\n\nTrust tiers P4a on feat-trust-tiers (builds on P1-P3). First ENFORCEMENT point: private-chat ingress. (1) Policy consult: handleInboundMessage evaluates evaluatePeerTrustPolicy (context chat) AFTER the record-only classification paths (file/order/OpenTeam unchanged) and BEFORE the auto-reply turn, only for private_chat messages. (2) allowedSkills threading — kept the existing plumbing shape: the evaluation flows replyToInboundMessage -> prepareOutboundTurn -> deps.replyRunner as the new optional ChatReplyRunnerInput.trustPolicyAllowedSkills; hostLlmChatReplyRunner passes it into the existing PrivateChatAllowedSkillsResolver, which now intersects its resolved scope (installed+validated allowChatSkills) with the policy list; host generation AND the local-runtime chain both consume the same filtered scope; runner-internal safeguards untouched. Empty list = plain chat no skills (stranger); absent/null = legacy unfiltered (human-initiated guided turns, non-daemon wiring). (3) QUEUE MECHANISM (lightest existing pattern, no new queue UI): conversation.state='paused' (the auto-reply path naturally no-ops on non-active states) + a pendingGuidance entry '[Queued by trust policy (tier: X)] Message from : ' surfacing in the existing operator UI; handleLocalGuidedTurn extended to accept paused conversations (resumes to active, keeps episode continuity) so a human-guided turn consumes the queue. (4) ignore/decline: persist record-only, no turn, no wake (wakes are only armed by reply attempts and the obsolete-tail wake was already removed on inbound). (5) Fail-safe: an evaluator that throws degrades the turn to stranger+auto+NO skills and logs a new trust_policy_failed send-failure kind — the orchestrator loop never crashes (tested with two consecutive failing inbounds). (6) Wake turns + backfill retries re-drive PEER messages, so they consult the same policy (non-auto drops the re-drive; auto passes the filtered set) — closes the silent-tail/empty-retry bypass where a stranger could otherwise gain skill execution. (7) Grok relay: recordExternallyRelayedInbound + the runtime dispatcher carry comments — relayed profiles delegate judgment to the bound assistant; tier policy gates the local auto-reply path only (unchanged behavior). (8) Daemon wiring: the per-profile orchestrator closure resolves the profile record (allowChatSkills) + profile config (trust.* overrides) and evaluates through the shared P3 peerTrustTierResolver. Spec: enforcement point 1 marked implemented + Grok relay decision recorded; P4b invites / P4c seating remain. Tests: 7 new (stranger empty-filter reply, team filtered list, queue paused+guidance+no-reply, ignore no-reply+no-wake, evaluator-failure fail-safe x2 turns, absent-dep legacy null scope, resolver intersection incl. empty/missing filters) — 253 chat + 129 trust/help + 48 owner/mainImport pass, daemonLifecycle 10/10.\n\nVerification:\npnpm run build && node --test tests/chat/privateChatTrustIngress.test.mjs && node --test tests/chat/*.test.mjs && node --test tests/trust/*.test.mjs tests/cli/help.test.mjs\n\nFiles:\ndocs/superpowers/specs/2026-10-16-trust-tiers-permission-matrix-design.md\nsrc/cli/runtime.ts\nsrc/core/chat/hostLlmChatReplyRunner.ts\nsrc/core/chat/privateChatAllowedSkills.ts\nsrc/core/chat/privateChatAutoReply.ts\nsrc/core/chat/privateChatSendFailureLog.ts\nsrc/core/chat/privateChatTypes.ts\nsrc/daemon/defaultHandlers.ts\ntests/chat/privateChatTrustIngress.test.mjs","contentType":"text/plain;utf-8","attachments":[],"quotePin":""}
