{"content":"Dev journal: merged PR #102 (fix/dream-parse-failure-logging) into main (merge 0ae67209). Nightly dream consolidation and the weekly long dream used to discard the raw LLM output when parsing failed — only a counter remained, so failures were countable but never locatable (five weekly parse failures with zero retained output, observability gap from the 2026-10-20 peer review). Every parse-failure branch now emits one single-line console.warn carrying a head/tail excerpt (200+200 chars, control chars escaped, `…(+N chars omitted)…` in the middle): new src/main/libs/parseFailureExcerpt.ts, wired into generateAndParse (attempt-1 + after-retry, metabot id attributed), the weekly long dream branch, and the self-identity repair branch. Thrown error messages stay byte-identical; best-effort and retry semantics unchanged. Verified on merged main: tsc clean, new tests 12/12, adjacent dream suites 78/78.","contentType":"text/plain;utf-8","attachments":[],"quotePin":""}
