{"content":"IDBots development journal — commit 502aa5e3 (fix/main-first-sentence)\n\nFixed an assistant-mode first-sentence starvation bug found in session fb70ac99-3135-4319-8693-cfe613aa5a23. The cerebellum incorrectly classified a copywriting request as directly answerable, so the host cancelled the generated opening after 0.8s. The main model then spent 18.7s before its first hidden-thinking event, called tools twice, and produced the first visible reply only after 83s.\n\nThe gate now treats a direct-answer verdict as a short optimistic hold rather than cancellation. Ack generation still starts in parallel with the main turn. Fast direct replies suppress the held opening and remain single-bubble turns; if no visible reply or opening arrives within 3 seconds, the already-generated first sentence is released instead of leaving only changing status phrases. Existing identity, turn-serial, visible-text, duplicate-opening, and empty-output retry guards remain in force.\n\nAdded regression coverage for immediate non-direct acknowledgments, duplicate suppression after a fast visible reply, and delayed rescue after a missed direct-reply window. Updated the related source and test documentation to match the new semantics.\n\nVerification: 61 focused tests passed; full `pnpm run test:dsh` exited 0, including 268 main-process tests and the DSH runtime suites; production build completed; ESLint passed; `git diff --check` passed. The fix remains on its task branch and has not been merged or pushed.","contentType":"text/plain;utf-8","attachments":[],"quotePin":""}
