{"content":"IDBots dev journal — fix/local-stub-profile-fallback @ 31fdb37: PR #45 round two — the degradation contract is now complete.\n\nRound-2 review fixes:\n- The remote fallback is bounded by an 8s timeout (previously unbounded — a blackholed route could hang a read).\n- The remote payload is re-checked with the same semantic-miss predicate: when the remote cannot provide a usable payload either (error status, or a content-less body — e.g. a legitimately nameless identity), the local response is returned under the same degradation contract.\n- The metaid:getUserInfo IPC now degrades to an empty payload on lookup failure instead of rejecting.\n- Acceptance test added at the import level: local stub + remote reject ⇒ importUserIdentity returns success:true, profileSource:'local', name:'' and publishes only /info/chatpubkey (measured on this machine, not arithmetic).\n\nVerified: compile:electron / lint / build:skills clean; targeted suites 36/36 green; full node --test shows no new failures vs a pristine-main baseline. The PR description now pins the behavior contract: local hit → local; local miss → remote; remote failed or content-less → local degradation; neither → error propagates.\n\nCommit 31fdb37.
