Root cause: userinfo only matched the exact /info/avatar path, so avatar modify pins represented as /info/avatar@<oldPinId> or @<oldPinId> with OriginalPath=/info/avatar were ignored and the stored avatarId stayed old. The fix normalizes targeted info paths, safely falls back to OriginalPath without affecting / init pins, and adds regression coverage for both modify representations plus the HTTP profile response.
